What You’ll Learn in a US Masters Adult Learn-to-Swim (ALTS) Class
Our ALTS program is designed to help adults feel confident and safe in the water. In each session, you’ll learn:

  • Water Comfort & Safety – How to relax, float, and breathe without fear.
  • Basic Skills – Submersion, gliding, and kicking techniques.
  • Stroke Fundamentals – Intro to freestyle and backstroke for efficient movement.
  • Breathing & Rhythm – Coordinating breath with strokes for endurance.
  • Confidence Building – Skills to enjoy swimming for fitness or recreation.

How Many Sessions Will You Need?
Most adults benefit from 4–6 one-hour sessions to build a solid foundation. Progress depends on comfort level and goals—some may need fewer, others may need more sessions.
